Let's Go Sevens
For Authentic QB Connections
Hey QB Connections,
Over the last two weeks we introduced The QB Connections Red Zone — our framework of 20 Essential Strengths and Skills for Lifelong QBs. Our goal is to help you develop these essential strengths and skills that translate into leadership, success, and strong relationships during football and long after.
Now, we want to take the next step in that process:
Introducing “Sevens”
Is there anything greater than “going sevens?” Open space, clear lines of sights, and just letting it rip. So we are using the name “Sevens” to do something great.
Sevens is a program we are developing to create stable small groups, comprised of seven quarterbacks each, current and former, from different ages and eras, who commit to connect for a defined season.
What are the goals of “Sevens” ?
Build authentic QB Connections between the members of each Seven
Create a space for mentorship, support, and friendship
Help each QB strengthen their Essential Strengths and Skills
Inspiration for Sevens: the Delbarton Deanery System
The concept for Sevens was inspired by something I experienced in high school at The Delbarton School: the Deanery System — multi-age, small student groups, led by Senior “Deans” and designed to build connection, mentorship, leadership, and community. That model stuck with me, and it’s one of the reasons I believe mixed-age QB groups can be powerful: the younger guys benefit from perspective, the older guys find purpose and satisfaction in guiding and supporting others, and everyone shares knowledge, insights, and friendship. I’ve run the idea by a number of QBs already, with very positive feedback, so we are going to go for it! -Vin
P.S. Can you name this legendary Seven?

Help us Build Sevens
As simple as it might sound, building Sevens will take a lot of work, some time and experimentation, and much participation and feedback from the group!
So … please take this brief survey to help us build Sevens. It should take you about a minute or two, and will be super valuable.
And in Case You Missed Them:
Thanks!
